MS Teams backgrounds can be used as additional communication material for initiatives, events or projects on a global level that contribute to the strategic priorities of our Purposeful Growth Agenda and if professional resources are available for their creation. Please note that individually created MS Teams backgrounds should not be uploaded to the general MS Teams background selection provided to all Henkel employees. A selection of general MS Teams backgrounds is already available in the program. Therefore, additional backgrounds for individual initiatives, events or projects should only be created when there is a clear communication need.
Individual MS Teams backgrounds may be used to support global initiatives, major events or strategic projects. They should help communicate one clear message and create recognition in virtual meetings without distracting from the conversation.
Keep the design simple, clear and flexible. The MS Teams background should be recognizably Henkel, easy to understand at small screen size and suitable for different meeting situations.
Select only one color combination for each MS Teams background. Please find further information on the color guidelines on the Henkel Brand Hub.
When adding an icon to the MS Teams background, please always follow the pictogram guidelines. When adding an illustration, please always follow the illustration guidelines. Avoid overloading the MS Teams background with too many graphical details.
The Henkel logo may be included if it supports the communication purpose and can be placed with sufficient clear space. Do not modify the logo, combine it with additional names or place it too close to text, icons or other design elements.
Bring Henkel to your screen: In this chapter, you will find a selection of desktop backgrounds available as image downloads. Alongside general Henkel motifs, you can also discover selected images from the Henkel art collection – a special choice for anyone who appreciates art and design in their daily work.
These special art designs will only be provided within our anniversary till the end of the year 2026. From 2027 on they will no longer be available for download.
