On September 26, 2026, Henkel is going to celebrate its 150th company anniversary.
In 1876, Fritz Henkel, the founder of our company – an entrepreneur, and courageous pioneer at heart – revolutionized the everyday life of people and laid the foundation for one of Germany’s most renowned family companies. His ideas, achievements and values have shaped our company and its culture. They inspire and guide us – today and for the good of generations.
By celebrating our 150th anniversary around the world, we want to honor all “Henkelaners” as well as our long-standing legacy – and showcase our future readiness & competitive edge to strengthen Henkel’s reputation.
The Anniversary Branding follows the established corporate design framework and is to be understood as a complementary layer that reflects the identity of our Henkel brand while highlithing the anniversary occasion. Introducing new design elements for Henkel's 150th anniversary allows us to create a memorable visual identity for the celebration, while strengthening brand recognition. It helps to differentiate this Milestone, created excitement and leaves a Lasting Impression on our Stakeholders.

Please note: This page focuses on providing an overview about all assets and templates surrounding Henkel's 150th anniversary. Detailed information on the different design elements can be found in the Henkel Anniversary Guideline.
The anniversary branding should exclusively be used for communication measures around the anniversary. All other activities not related to the anniversary should be branded using the previous Henkel brand design elements.
Most of the design elements will be integrated into the Henkel brand design System beyond 2026. The only element intended exclusively for the anniversary is the "150 years" key visual, which shoulud no longer be used starting 2027.
