Promoting podcasts

The podcast pages are designed to promote and allow users to listen to podcasts. It should also offer resources related to the podcast’s topic.

Hero

Use the Article hero module. The hero should include the following elements:

A. Document type (and other tags)

Podcast, brand logo, new, etc.

B. Headline

Create a compelling headline that clearly conveys the podcast’s main topic(s).

C. Short introduction

A slightly more in-depth description (around two sentences or approximately 100 characters). Provide a brief but compelling description of what customers can expect from the podcast.

D. ‘listen time’, share link and favorite button

  • Manage customer expectations by displaying the runtime of the podcast.
  • Enable customers to share the recorded webinar page on their social media networks, expanding its reach.
  • Give the customer the option of favoriting the podcast.

Main content

The main content consists of a summary, key insights and featured speakers.

A. Podcast player + summary

Use a Video + text module to hold the podcast player (the podcast usually comes in a video format where the sound plays over a series of static images or illustrations). The module will also hold a brief summary of the podcast that should include key details, such as the podcast’s purpose, highlights, and the value a customer will gain from watching the recording.

The module can hold 2 CTAs that usually would be used in a setup where:


  • the primary button is: ‘Download podcast’
  • and the secondary button is: ‘Download article’

B. Key insights

Utilise a checkmark box to highlight key insights or takeaways that customers can expect from the event. Make these points clear and impactful.

C. Author with bio

Showcase featured speaker using an author with bio module. Include their name, title and if possible a link to their LinkedIn account, website or similar as well as a short description of their accomplishments and qualifications. Use a high-quality image of the speaker.

Provide links or access to related resources that complement the podcast content, such as product information, applications, white papers, and case studies.

A. Mentioned products

When the webinar describes one or more products, the products are highlighted in the product ribbon module. These will be placed below the podcast details.

B. Related content

The preview card module is used to guide the user to more relevant reading materials.
