Phase change materials are thermal interface materials (TIMs) that transition from a solid to a liquid state when heated, improving heat transfer between electronic components and heat sinks. These materials, often replacing thermal grease, offer several advantages, including ease of handling, reduced mess and a thinner bondline, enhancing thermal performance and reliability.

What is a product tagline and why is it important?
The tagline should include what makes a product unique within its product category. 80% of customers only read the product tagline and often only on the Product Listing Page, so it’s crucial to be both as accurate as possible and keep to the two golden rules of taglines:
Maximum 80-characters limit
No full-stop at the end
Constructing a product tagline
We have a simple formula to help you write compelling taglines for phase change materials. And to make it even simpler, the two elements can be in either order:
Examples
Refer to these examples when writing your tagline. And remember: no full stop at the end, and max 80 characters.
- Thin bond line, low pressure - for advanced devices
- Electrically insulating reinforced pad
- Easy-to-use tabulated pad
- High performance, electrically insulating, reinforced pad
- Dispensable paste - low thermal impedance
- Printable paste - low thermal impedance
- Printable paste for high operating temperature
What is a short description and why is it important?
Use the short description, in max 2 sentences, to describe what’s specific to the product within its category, and how the product provides value in application. In short, expand on the tagline without repeating it verbatim (and don’t forget a full stop at the end!). Do not include the product name in the short description.
Constructing a short description
We have a simple formula for writing compelling short descriptions:
Examples
Refer to these examples when writing your short description:
- This breakthrough, unreinforced, thermally-conductive phase-change material is designed for challenging designs in advanced computer and networking applications, offering superior thermal performance.
- This electrically insulating, thermally conductive phase change material is fiberglass-reinforced - making it easy to handle and convert. It is designed for electronic power devices requiring electrical isolation to the heat sink.
- This electrically insulating, thermally conductive phase change material with polyimide reinforcement is designed for electronic power devices requiring electrical isolation to the heat sink. No spill, no mess, easy handling.
- This naturally tacky, unreinforced, thermally conductive phase change material is designed for electronic power devices, such as a processor lid or die to a heat sink. No spill, no mess, high reliability.

What is a long description and why is it important?
Here you have the space to describe in greater detail all the important technical characteristics. Elaborate on the tagline and short description (verbatim if necessary), and add any important info not yet mentioned.
Constructing a long description
There is no specific formula for writing long descriptions: just start with the product name (remembering the ®) and elaborate in 2-3 sentences details on the product. The first sentence should be the primary differentiators / key features, with the following sentences additional information on substrate compatibility, specific applications, etc. And of course remember to stick to all protocols for measurements, spacing, etc.
Examples
Refer to these examples when writing your long description:
- BERGQUIST® HI FLOW THF 5000UT is a multi award winning, reworkable phase change thermal interface material designed for use between a heat sink and a variety of heat generating components. The material flows at its phase change temperature and conforms to the surface features of the components. During flow, air is expelled from the interface and thermal impedance is reduced, enabling highly efficient thermal transfer.
- BERGQUIST® HI FLOW® THF 1600G is an electrically insulating, thermally conductive, 55°C (131°F) phase change compound coated on a fiberglass web. It provides high cut-through resistance for converting and ease of handling within assembly - avoiding the drip-and-run experienced with conventional grease. This product is ideal for use as a thermal interface material between electronic power devices requiring electrical isolation to the heat sink.
- BERGQUIST® HI FLOW THF 3000UT is a thermally conductive, 52°C (125.6°F) phase change material that comes in a tabulated pad form for ease of assembly. This product is designed with a phase change softening feature for improved handling prior to assembly. Very low thermal impedance is produced by wetting out the thermal interfaces at application temperatures and pressures. It is comparable to the best thermal greases and the consistent thickness ensures reliable performance without the pump-out often experienced with some thermal greases. Can be applied using low pressure roller or manual applications.

What are USPs and why are they important?
Here you can list the top 3 to maximum 5 things a customer would need to know about the product, based on what they’re most likely to use it for. Try to focus on genuine USPs, rather than generic information you could find in many products. Ensure any regional-specific certifications are included (as a one-off 6th USP if necessary).
Constructing USPs
We have a simple formula for writing compelling USPs:
Examples
Refer to these examples when writing your USPs (and please note: no full stops at the end):
- Designed for thin, 25 µm (minimum) bond line with low thermal impedance (0.04°C / 32°F -cm2/W at 35psi, 0.06°C / 32.1°F -cm2/W at <10psi)
- Solid at room temperature, flows and fills the interface at target temperature 45°C (113° F)
- Thermal conductivity: 8.5 W/m-K
- Thermal impedance: 0.20°C (32°F) -in2/W (@25 psi)
- Phase change compound coated on a fiberglass carrier
- Excellent cut-through resistance
- Phase change softening temp 55°C (131°F)
- Electrically insulating
- Operating temperature: -40 to 150°C (-40°F to 302°F)
- Naturally tacky and tabulated for ease of assembly
- Outstanding thermal performance in an insulated pad
- Excellent cut-through resistance
- Excellent dielectric performance

What is meta data and why is it important?
The meta title is the product name, and the meta description is the product tagline. These data influence how pages appear in search results, impacting click-through rates and visibility. Optimizing meta data is important because it helps attract the right audience and improves search engine rankings and, by extension, leads.
Constructing meta data
The meta title is the product name, and the meta description is the product tagline. Please find detailed guide on how to write product tagline under respective tab.
